Zexed MP3 vs. 3.2 TL

Well people as you all know I killed my engine because something went wrong with my Zex setup, and I don't care if anyone knows anymore. The night before my engine went south, I was on my way to Hwy 360 by way of Green Oaks Blvd. I cruisin the speed limit when I look up in my rear-view and see these set of HID's commin up fast. In an instant they were on my ass. The more I sped up, they stayed glued to my ass. Finally I was like phuck this, hit the switch, downed it to 3rd, and floored it. I looked up in the rear-view, and the HID's were geting smaller and smaller, until the guy was about 5 car-lengths back. After that the guy started speeding up, but only got within 4 car-lengths! If it wasn't for a red light at Hyw 360, he would not have caught me anytime soon! :D He pulled up the the light and asked me what is that man?! Me: "It's a MP3."
Him: "Are those fast."
I thought, what do you think, and then I fessed up that I was on the bottle. It sure was fun while it lasted!!!

Why did you fess up...let the fool be bothered with his 30G purchase getting burned by a car that is less then 20G. And looks and sounds way better then his. Besides what kind of question was that..."Are those fast?" Who the heck smoked you a mile before...Duh

If he had a TL type-s that NO2 wouldn't have helped. By the way the TL is an awsome car for the cash 28K fully loaded, has leather, all power, in dash cd changer, good sound system, sunroof, 225 HP. If you get the Type-s its only 2K more and you get a better interior, the car sits lower, get better shocks, 17" wheels, and 260 HP.

TL Type-S is definitly my nect car.

Just wondering, but it sounds you were spraying for a pretty long time on that highway...about how many seconds were you on it? Did you know that with a stock motor it's not recommended you use nitrous for more than fifteen seconds at a time?

by the way N20 is the symbol for nitrous oxide if it were N02 it'd be nitrogen dioxide

I wasn't on the Highway yet! I was about 1/2-1/4 Mi from it. This was in a 45 MPH Zone. I only sprayed for about 7-9 sec (I beleive).

Just wondering.... did you blow your engine, and did you bring it in to mazda to have them fix it? If so did they say anything about the NOS or did they even notice it?

I blew it the night after I smoked the 3.2 TL. I had just raced a VW Jetta (pre 1998) before I got to that point where my Check engine light came on. I made it to work, and I took all the N20 stuff off that night. In the morning, I towed it in to the dealership, and after a couple of hours, they suspected N20. I had my car towed out of there before they could run any tests. I was gonna switch in some old oil, but decided to go with the engine swap instead.

Well, from what I have heard, Honda and most company's have gotten to where they test ALL cars that are suspected of using N2O. I hear that they have some kind of liquid they flush the motor with and if it turns a certain color it means you have used N2O.
Its kinda like testing for drugs from what they say.
Now this is just something I have heard and not to be taken as fact.
