800hp on 9psi ?

I'm pretty sure he meant the setup was good for 800hp, but because of the stock S2K rear end they only have the boost set to 9psi. Sheesh that setup makes me want to ditch the Miata and look for a S2K with no motor and send it to them. I love my Miata, but s*** man imagine the possiblities with that thing.(glare)

well that doesn't really answer the question why.
but I can understand the unique factor. but these guys want to put a 2jz in everything. the s2 motor is a good one itself. to me the beauty of modifying is using what was intended. i am a big fan of the 2jz. but keep it in a toyota.
