im down for the 23rd although im pretty sure my car wont be in the picture...damn it i need my miata!!! erg! anyway! im sure if im down chris is down... i highly doubt we have anything going on that weekend anyway! im hardcore down just to cruise around...let me just make sure my bank account is okay to be doing that heheheheh

how about fast lap afterward...AGAIN! being that steve, michele, chris and i will be missing the nellis event the following weekend?
 
i'm out, :( i'll prolly be doin my srtuts that day, unless i do it weekend b4, gotta talk to chris, anyone else is welcome since i need all the help i can get (never done struts b4)
 
struts are friggen easy...

just don't mess up the orientation of the "dot" on the perch...

jack car up, 4 bolts on top, 2 on the spindle... compress spring, pull off strut nut... pull off perch, replace spring, throw perch back on, reassemble, and do it all in reverse...

mcpherson strut suspension is sooo easy... when we did the 7 last I think it took like half an hour max for all 4 corners...

tho i still have nightmares about the 5 or so times we've done the miata doublewishbone setup... tho the last time we managed the whole car in about an hour...

And last time we did the 7, we replaced the perches w/camber plates... so its even easier to replace the struts/springs... just gotta set the camber after...

ya but i never done it b4, and if you do somethin on ur own that u never done it takes time ya know.... i'm hoping chris will be down to help, if u want u can come too n kick it with us, i might do em the weekend before on sunday the 16th

Struts are very easy, just time consuming.. Now, back on topic...

Red Rock sounds really good to me!!

I believe it's like $5 for an entrance fee... but the scenery is well worth it..

The only thing is that, it's a one way road (for the most part), and so there's no turning back once we've passed a certain place.. so we should do a lot of stopping at a lot of places there.. very very nice tho... ;)
 
let steve take the lead...he knows the best photo spots out there..hell he has a damn yearly pass....so we know he's gone there enough times to know where the best photospots are... on top of that im sure most of us have seen the pictures he's taken up there...pretty damn good i must say! heheheh =D cant wait to finally drive red rock....ive never taken my car there.... not inside the park at least
 
which one is your reverse elbow? left or right? wait im confused! ahahaha
