- Sunset on the road to Pahrump somewhere? (road is pretty nice during the day/sunset)

They also have the lake overlook before you get to Hoover. But I like the road to Pahrump idea better.

not at Pahrump.. on the way to Pahrump.. the nice twisties, the up and downhill, the looooong straights.. (sigh) sunset and the scenery is just NICE...

sounds like a nice drive.... but as far as scenery goes how does it beat red rock??

red rock overlook does sound nice, but maybe a little cliche' ? im for both sr160 and redrock cuz steve brought it up and i forgot about it

yes everyone does red rock but for good reason, it's an amazing view AND pictures can be taken in a parking lot as opposed to the side of the road much safer as well as easier to get good pictures

i have no idea where you guys would be taking pictures on the 160 it's mostly a 2 lane highway all the way to parhump lol

good point, i really wanna take a pic somewhere that not too many people have been though since it'll be more unique... i know it's a traffic hell, but could hoover dam also be a possibility ?

nelson? i've never been on the overlook when the sun was up, tho...

also, north shore road that wraps around lake meade has several parking-lot-ish places along the way if you look at it on google maps... I keep meaning to take a run of that road and see if its any good for cruising...
