What do you guys think about the TWM Mazdaspeed6 Short shifter????

Is it easy to install?

I am thinking about sealing the deal on the Stage one Short shifter with brushings when I get paid tomorrow....

It's the best mod your going to find for under $200...It's the way the car should have come from the factory....

Not sure about the "best mod under $200." I'm pretty psyched about the motor mount. BUT, the stage 1 TWM w/ bushings is the next mod i will do. I hear it's awesome and I want to get as close to the 12s as possible with the stock turbo. Gotta birthday coming up...

Yep, I did forget about the motor mount(definatly a great mod, but alot of people can't handle the extra vibration). The shortshifter has no negative side affects.....

i installed the stage 2 with bushings and the bushings are not a waste of money u will see that when u install them there totally different and well worth the extra cash.. might i ask why ur going with stage 1 then 2?? stage 1is less work and time to install but its got 5% shorter shift and step by step instuctions just like stage 1, u cant screw it up. every little bit helps u get closer to that 12s run.

I am going to get the brushings, but to answer your question....Peasant.
I wanted to maintain the stock height, but get a better shifting feel.

Install is easy, especially if you are only doing the Stage one. I have the bushings and highly recommend them. You can remove the whole shift assembly from the car and it will make the job easier, or you can just do it in place per TWM's instructions.

Thank you chief I will look into removing the entire shift assembly.
