technically, the gun is inert until its in someone's hands. i voted for the beretta. the M9 has had a lot of problems but the newer models have pretty much worked all of them out and reliability has increased. get one thats made in the US, but use italian mags. plus, the visual design of the thing is breathtaking.

for max reliability i'd go for the glock, but dont count out the sig.

well mines not on the list, so I can't vote, but I got two.
#1 is a Springfeild Armory 1911 45 apc
#1 is a Colt Second Model Dragoon .44

I love the tauras H-617,but it's just a flavor thing,it doesn't have much use,I just enjoy it.


out of your choices listed,I prefer the berreta over the glock,because I like having a hammer,for one.


(BTW,my home security "pistol" is a dual pistol grip mossberg 12 GA w/ 18" barrel.)
