your audio power rating

yes it does, it was out of there like the day i got the car.. well not really but pretty fast anyways

when I was gutting the car to sell it, someone (possibly mike) accidentialy touched my 4ga power wire to the car before I could disconect it from the battery
oh man did that **** it up nice

even with a cap the headlights would dim like mad

the guys that say 5000 isnt enough are the guys who will not hear u when u ask a question and will not hear at all by the time they are 40

11000 watts of kicker power here.

and 400 watts of jbl in the daily driver.

11KW? THAT IS 14.751243 hp you are win...

hey what are the specs for that system?

Mine is crap.. but my friend is running 2 zapco 9.0's so thats 4400 watts rms (bowdown)

That might only be for the subs, I dunno.

lol yeah thats a typo should have said 1100

bet a few of u were shitttin your pants though lol

I'm running 120Wx2 and 250Wx1...of course...it's never up that loud. I probably only run 400W daily, and 500W max RMS if you measured it.

HA! I noticed that Alpine is rating all their stuff that way, now! I don't think that they should rate at 14.4V though.

Kenwood, Sony, RF ect should all be participating this year.

Unfortunitly thats what was decided. I think 12.6 would be good if they could list each but for a single rating for amps and headunits I can see the logic. Afterall a deck won't cause a power dip like an amp so most will see around 14 volts.

yeah problem is most likely the cheap companies won't use the rating. or since there is still no regulation, i'm sure they will skew the numbers. kinda like i just did above lol
