Meh, I don't see why everyone discriminates by age. I'm 19, have no tickets, never in an accident and I maintain the speed limit. I rarely turn my cell phone on let alone text/talk while driving. I pay my own insurance (get a good student discount too) and for my car and all mods. I like to think if I did want to drive like an idiot my reaction time is way better than most "experienced" drivers if a situation should arise. I can honestly say I see more "experienced" driver talking on the phone, texting, hitting s***, getting pulled over etc etc while doing more than 10 over than I do those my age.
You are in the minority then Stereotypes are stereotypes because they are true most of the time.
I know I was an awful driver when I was younger. It wasn't until I had to pay for my own car, car insurance, etc. that I calmed down. I used to hit raised side streets so I could get my car on 2 wheels, would fly down a dead end and slam on the brakes so I would just barely miss hitting the trees at the end, went down a huge steep hill in a residential area at 80 mph so I would get air.
Oh, and all that was with a 1988 Toyota Camry Station Wagon. I couldn't imagine what I would have done with a MS3.
I still don't have my car back. Apparently the front bumper of the MS3 is backordered throughout the country and there is no ETA. I called my insurance company to see what I need to do since today is day 27 of 40 that I get my loaner paid for. They mentioned to me that they've already started a claim with her insurance company and that was the first her insurance company had heard of the accident. She never claimed it.
And because she didn't claim it, her insurance company won't give mine the money for it until they can prove that car is finished being fixed.
Once the 40 days are up on the loaner, Enterprise is going to start charging me the non-discounted price for the car. My insurance rep told me that I need to get in touch with her insurance and make them pay for the car at that point and suggested I do it next Monday if the car isn't ready by then.
