You guys heard of this waterless washing product?

It looks like it works like meguiars quick detailer.

The only thing with meguiars quick detailer is you have to be in the shade.

+1

Go youtube Optimum no rinse (aka ONR). this company's entire lineup of detailing products are top notch and if you want to do a rinseless wash, ONR is the ONLY choice. I do some detailing on the side and I've done customer's AMG, Lexus and my own cars and no scratches or swirl marks.

The only problem with washless products is knowing how dirty the car really is before using it. Nothing replaces soap and water. If your car is spotless and sat over night and got some dust or whatever then those products are fine. If you have been driving around though and could have picked up anything that you could wipe into the paint, done...

I appreciate the efforts of companies to help conserve water, but if you go to wiping your car down with particulate matter stuck to the paint, you're not going to like the results. A light coat of dust or lint is one thing, and is even harmful to your paint to a certain extent. Speaking for myself, after I've driven my car in the rain, there's no way I'm rubbing it with anything except a soapy mit after the car's been thoroughly hosed off. I rather leave it dirty than give it a rub down with sand and other grit.

I haven't heard of that but I use FW1 racing cleaning wax (also waterless) and it works great but I still pass the car through the carwash first. I've seen it demoed on a really dirty car and it worked as advertised.

really. check out some ONR reviews on autopia.

doesnt matter how dirty the car is, (with the exception of the wheels ONR isnt to good on beat up baked on wheels) ONR does a fanatasic job.

yup. you guys that are like "I don't care, I aint bout to rub no..."

seriously, you're just missing out on something. With ONR, I'd bet 90% of the users first said "I aint bout to wipe this across my dirty hood" then they were like HOLY SHIZNICKLE!!!

yes, the exception is if you've been offroading in your 4x4, then ok, a pressure wash is in order.

BUT, for the weekly folks who love keeping their car clean, drive the car each and every day, through the rain, etc etc etc...ONR is for you.

Imagine being able to go out in your garage at night when everyone is off to bed and say "I'm gonna clean up my baby." this aint no infomercial rinseless type of deal. ONR is probably the hottest detailing product on the market right now...except for the fact that nobody seems to know about it except detailers.

i havent used it on any of my customers cars as of yet, but i use it on my p5 every now and then when i feel like washing my car, but my driveway is covered in the hot sunlight.
