what is the attraction of this crappy "urban entertainment".....by urban I mean black. It's the only way whites can comment on black entertainment...we have to refer to it as "urban"

so many assy movies out so often it's really giving "urban culture" an even worse reputat on.

Different strokes for different folks. I know of plenty "urban entertainment" that are good. You have a different group that may have a different type of humor. Kinda hard to explain. It's like certain people will get jokes because its related to them. I give up cuz its hard to explain IMO. You always have someone trying to make a ghettofied movie like Tales from the Hood. WTF was that!?!

As always people have different opinions on movies so its not just "urban entertainment".

I rented kings of comedy with the hope of understanding it, I knew I wouldn't get the jokes, but I wanted to learn....in the end, I spent 2 hours of my life trying to understand cedric the entertainer, he needs speech therapy classes

Haha. Bernie Mac and Cedric were my two favorites from that.

If you want to laugh watch Robin Williams HBO special (don't know the rest of the name) but that had me in tears gasping for air.
