**BUMP**

AS PROMISED!!!

Here's a link to the pics! I didn't get many because there were gophers all over picking cars to take into the building. Got good ones of the wheels, and this is no flash, around 5:30 EST.

Enjoy.

2003.5 pics

They're kinda big, so 56K warning ...

I was bored today so I went for a drive. I realized that I was kinda close to AAI, so I decided to stop by and see if they had any of the 2003.5 MSP's there. Before I get to that, let me tell you that the ABS and panic-handling characteristics of the MSP are AWESOME! I was driving by AAI, right by their entrance, and someone that works there decided that they didn't see my BRIGHT ORANGE CAR coming at him at 50 MPH and started out into the intersection. I had to slam on the brakes and crank the wheel, but the ABS kicked in and the steering was flawless as I took the 90 degree turn. Needless to say, I was very impressed and at no time felt scared that the car wasn't going to do what I needed it to do.

Anyway, I finally made my way around to where they had the 2003 MSP's (there aren't any left that I saw) and they DO have 8 2003.5's (4 yellow - 4 titanium). They don't have spoilers or anything, but you can tell what they are.

I know, I know .... PICTURES! I'll get some tomorrow, I promise (I'm NOT Colin949). They're only about 20 feet from the fence, so they should be pretty decent. I'll even see if I can get some good shots of the wheels in natural (sun) light.

That is all.

oh man, I will love you forever!!!!! .....ok, at least for a week.......ok..ok...how about all of tomorrow :)

Getting the wheels would be soo cool. Did they look really dark?

You gotta 10x optical zoom :)

Seriously bud....thanks.

if it's this dark....ok, I can live with this

This one here, I'm not sure if this is a 2003 wheel or not, but it isn't that dark, but there's light shot straight at it.

But, this, is TOO dark. Looks fine on yellow, but i personally don't want this dark on grey. But, it could be all lighting.

I could show pics all day, one showing light, another dark and so on....damn, can't wait to see real lighting pics.

these cars have been sitting in vancouver for months....there is a pic of them somewhere on here

Albert, I almost had the same situation yesterday driving home in the rainy southern california weather. I was started to accelerate in 5th gear around 55mph and this lady just swerves right in front of me. Rather than plow through her I slammed on the brakes. I felt the ABS kick in as I began to rotate into the next lane. I slammed it into third gear and corrected out of it as I slid into another lane.

After I leveled out the chick got in front of me again as I honked at her, then at the last minute before the freeway interchange she swerved again into another lane, luckily no one was there.

I do believe the handling of this car is great, but in certain situations it may be too much for some drivers. I know if I were in my old Spec V I would have spun right as I hit the brakes that hard in the same situation.

I was very lucky that the other drivers on the road were aware of what was happening and gave me enough room or got out of the way of my car, so many things race through your mind in a situation like this, I'm thankful for the Mazdaspeed being there to protect me.

hmm, here's some pics of the wheels

Newf, you seem so worried about the wheels...Don't be! If you don't love them when you see them just work some new ones into the financing of your bran new 2003.5 Mazdaspeed. This way you can get a wheel that you love and sell the Harts (if they don't suit your taste) and use the cash toward your loan. Just a thought.

Very cool Albert..... Way to not be a Colin949!!!!

The titanium is very nice but that yellow is pale as hell.

Nice pics, and as promised.... Love you man! Don't take that the wrong way :)

excuse me for a bit while I decide if I like those rims or not ????

is it me, or does the exhaust tip look smaller?
maybe its because i dont have the stock exhaust..but I dont think so...
