xenon hid lights

I would say no, stay away from those cheap bulbs.
you should either get Piaa 55watts, or silverstar, sylvania, or HID kit.
but if you don't want to spend extra money, go for it. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

I don't mean to be an ass but do a search !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you already did numerous searches and still you can't find your answers then everyone will be happy to answer your questions for ya.
there's reason why all forums have search function.

If I were you, I would spend the money on some silverstars which actually give out MORE LUMENS than a stock bulb. This ebay guy is very misleading.........for example his claim that

"slight hint of blue which will reflect much better off signs than standard yellow halogen bulbs" isnt exactly true.......a yellow light would definitely give objects higher contrast than a blue light.

"Like HILITE Industries, we firmly stand by the quality of our products...." .......... "We offer a 90 day satisfaction guarantee" LMAO if they were really confident about their product I'm sure they would AT LEAST give a 1 year warranty

"Don't be fooled by some sellers' claims" I hear the voice of a mark ass hypocrite....

By the way the guy says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the lumen output of his "bright" bulbs LOL

Dont be fooled man, stand by the facts
1. Higher color temperature (say 8000k vs. 5000k) gives out less usuable light and therefore less lumens (lumens is the measure of light intensity)
2. Tints are made for one thing: to block or reduce the amount of light transmitted.......just from the picture of the bulbs alone would deter any intelligent person from buying those dark ass tinted bulbs.
3. You are considering on spending money on decreasing the performance of your headlights.......not smart

Hope that helps....peace

And, just to add in here, ALL HID retorfit kits are illegal in the US...

And no one makes a replacement HID kit for the Protege. The next obvious arguement is that the Familia has HID as an option so get those.

Don't buy J-spec headlight. They are meant for right hand drive cars. The beam pattern will be aimed as such. We live in a left hand drive society where we don't appreciate being blasted with light pointing in the worng direction.

Of course, that leads to the aiming argument. But, improperly aimed headlights are just as bad as ones not used in this country.

Do yourself a favor. Buy the Sylvania bulbs...
