XEDE and surging

For those who have installed the XEDE, do you experience surging? And also how was the stock diverter valve hold up?

And where have the rest of you guys mounted it? I see two mounting holes on the housing of it, but don't really see any surface to bolt it down to.

I wish I had XEDE so I could answer you.I want that damn chip so bad but I cant afford it now.
Please tell me what you think of it.Is the performance what you thought it would be?

I haven't installed it yet because I'm too preoccupied with worrying about what that clicking noise is coming from the engine. But if all goes well, I will let you know tomorrow.

I get that damn clicking noise also.It sounds like a solenod that is just opening and closing like it is screwed up.It dont seem to do it all the time tho.

The Miatas make a similar clicking noise with the key "on". On that car it is the EGR valve....

As for the Xede. Mount it anywhere in the engine bay. Set it between the battery and air box. OR Velcro can be your friend!

yea my car clicks too and when i give it gas u hear sqeaking, i stil dont know wtf it is and no 1 realy answered it b4

i duno what it is...when i reverse and i engage the clutch again....i also hear a click when the clutch is engagedwhile im moving backwards...but the gas pedal thing is wierd if u never heard it keep ur car around 2500 rpm and tap the gas....it wil probably make the same noise unless my car is a ball of garbage
