exactly, if you run VTA you either have to run both the stock bypass valve AND the aftermarket BOV, or move the MAF sensor to the hot pipe. personally I prefer to keep the setup as close to stock as possible, given that there is really no functional advantage to changing the BOV/BPV/MAF setup.
 
what is the gain running a recirc'd BOV as opposed to the stock setup?

Is a recr'd BOV louder than the turkey?
 
the stock BPV is too small to flow enough air to properly release when its supposed to. upgrading to an aftermarket valve with larger openings will flow more, and theoretically kill the turkey. this is provided you have a solid vacuume source.

also dub, you want the 03.5 knob? I'm looking at making myself a shift knob. if I pull it off I'll let you know and you can have mine for whatever the going rate is. its in pretty good shape, leather is still there.
 
Yeah, t25 or GT2554R is just the stock msp turbo. I like saying the number over "msp turbo"

Yup! I got everything out and will be boxing today after work, if I'm lucky, I can box it up quick enough to ship today but if not, shipping tomorrow guaranteed!

Motor mount WILL be FS soon as i get the stockers, i won't be reinstalling even if i end up keeping the Pro5
 
i'm affraid to do the rear.....

gonna be swapping back to the stock intake mani this weekend (pending the motor mounts show by Sat) so, gonna try my best to get to the rear while i've got it off.....
 
They'll be there by sat, I promise.

I'll tell you, its like this, the rear has 3 bolts that face upwards in a triangle form. the peak one which is closest to the front is the easiest one to get to but you have to have you hand right there in everything to get a good grip on the bolt, if you use any long extensions, you could strip the bolt. The other two, you cannot get to with any kind of extension so your hand has to be right by all the pretty sharp objects.
