Hey dub got the back SLAMMED, but when i did the front i stripped the end-link bolts. :( so now i got to wait untill at least Monday. im really sad. but the back looks really good. cant even fit my hand in the wheel gap

this is why I swapped the springs with the endlink still attached... didn't wanna mess with it. haha. if I recall you're swapping struts too though... so.. good luck pullin em off stripped. not fun.
 
tell me about it. im debiating about just making new ones like on that how-to. its probly worth it. is it??
 
if you don't get stronger endlinks, you're going to burn out the end joints, probably bend em, and possibly start knocking the sway bar into things you don't wanna knock it into.
 
YUM. Sry to hear about the endlink, those are little s****, found my passenger-side one un-done today, gave a nice little scratch on the inside of my wheel :(
 
You changed the springs without taking the endlinks off? I never even thought of that, I may have to do it sooner than i expected.

I only did the fronts, so I can't speak for the rear, and using the spring compressor is a lil trickier but yeah, I pulled it off without disconnecting the sway. Solo even, unless you count my gf watching. lol

also, break the top strut bolt loose with the upper strut mount still bolted in place... just FYI lol
 
I do it until its tight, I don't push it cause I know its possible, also, the lugs are light weight so I don't want them to rip or crack cause I don't think they're forged.
