Wyotech..

Well, was just wanting to know there opinion on it and if its good for a novice and what not.

I can tell you on the 1st day my brother in law to be (whom is going) said the technicians and teachers looked more favorably upon the people who had little to no background in cars / repair (due to the fact they were more moldable).

Everyone is welcomed there though. Hell, I've even thought about it.

The head of Wyotech has left and is now running Virginia College's ASE Program here in B'ham.

This summer VCTech will start a "HotRod U" program that I'll be attending. If it's popular there is talk of an "important tuning" program. I'm SO in.

i was enrolled but due to medical circumstances i had to go to the local tech school here to be close to my doctors. I wanted to go and they look extremely competent

A friend of mine went there before they had the one in pittsburg. He said it's the best experience he's ever had. He came out of there and got the head tech position at cadilac when he was 20 years old. He took all the courses and he's rediculous at painting, fiberglassing, and working on motors.

He now owns a GN that'll run 10's and a 78 vett that he made a custom fiberglass hood, painted it viper blue and put white racing stripes on it with a hint of pearl. It looks sick. I'll definatly be going there when I'm done paying my car off and can afford school.

I went there for the collision/refinishing/interior part, my brother went there for the auto tech program and transmissions. It was a decent school, hope you like drinking and killing bunny rabbits and racing. That's all there is to do there. well, pick up on the four chicks in town. Every night after class we did the "techer Drags" on a different road out of town. The cops tried to anticipate which road we would use, but rarely did they find us. Even then, they just ran us off, no tickets or anything.
