are you guys using 5lb scotch exterior tape? if not, it will work. i had it holding my CF sideskirts on and most of my CF pieces. that stuff is like a rock.

it can be found at walmart. its redbacking , and the tape itself is gray.

also, hows the scooby doing?

i love it. i love having a stock car again...but the itching is there...i have springs and rims picked out, just need to wait till after i get married.

whats happin is they prolly not gettin a good seal and air is gettin under it and poping it off,

This is my thought exactly. It has to be. I don't think the WW upper window spoiler was designed well. At the end of the roof and the upper rear glass, there's the rubber stripping that allows air to seep right into and that forces a lift/strain on the spoiler. The wind doesn't seem to flow over the spoiler.

So does that mean you have one for sale too??

I did put it up for sale before it got damaged on the corners the 3rd time it flew off. Even if i sold it you, you would have to have it sanded down (it's painted Spicy Orange), repair the chipped corner (you might not even have to do this, it's really not that bad) and paint it again in hopes that it won't fly off on you. You are better off buying it from the website some suggested. It's a good price. I paid a lot more for it back in the days. *sigh*

I know exactly what you are talking about. I used that for some of the dgm interior trims. It is REALLY strong, but i don't think it's meant for outdoor used. The doubled sided tape seem to dry out (it lost it's adhere) and eventually showed it's weakness. The cold in Canada, water from rain and car washed is just too much for double sided tape.

Wings West was purchased by another company... I don't think anyone knows if all their parts will still be made.

That upper wing comes with double-sided 3M adhesive already on it (from what I recall).

I'd like one of these myself, I should have bought one back when they were readily available.

*sorry if my info has been posted, I quit reading after the topic went elsewhere.

Yeah, VIS bought them. Hopefully they don't ruin the WW quality standards though. (headshake

yeah, erebuni has changed there quality over the past year, when i bought my kit 2 years ago, it was a perfect fit and was gelcoted great, no pinwholes.. i got hit in the rear, had to get a new one, still perfect fit, but it had pin holes everywhere , gel coat wasnt great, painter had to sand it down to the fiberglass and regelcoat it, sand, prime,paint.. big hassle, the bill ended up bieng 913.00, the insurance company didnt like that bill.. lol, thank god it wasnt my insurance..

Its good to hear that the WW stuff will still be available. But I don't want to purchase that upper window spoiler if it's always going to fall off. Is there anything else that will keep the spoiler on the window besides that double-sided tape? If not, how much is that 5lb double-sided exterior tape that Wal-Mart has?
