its a small thing but something worth to know . If I would change my motor mount earlier this wouldnt happen....

I knew from the first time I saw that MS3 motor about to jump out of the car on a dyno video that there would be a s*** load of MM issues. Just keep adding to the list...

Thats why I said make a list, because peoples engines have totally dropped out of the engine bay and everything. Mazda avbously don't know that they can't use the same motor mouts on the NA as they do on the FI. Even holds true with the MSP. Straight up... Madza OEM parts suck.

uhhh.... the ms3 motor mounts ARE different than the normal 3s... they're still s*** obviously

Totally dropped out? no. They dropped on one side and ****** up the axle and other connected parts, yes. The only ms3 I know where the engine tore out completely was the one that flipped in the racing video. I agree there are issues but let's not get carried away.

To the op:

As for that issue in the pics, looks like the bracket was just weak at that point and broke. That's a rather thin piece of metal. I've seen one other car with the very same issue.

For this engine to not rock back and forth as much you'd need really tough rubber (or urethane)mounts which will vibrate like crazy. That's not something they'd install from the factory. Now I'm not saying the tranny mount wasn't a major issue, it was but when last have we heard of an engine dropping? It was almost a weekly to monthly occurrence. Your mount is definitely the revised one as it has the #10 stamped on it.
