Most of those terroist guys are clean shaven, dress "normally", and all that so they blend in here.

Yea he looks kinda like Osama or something, lol. But no, I seriously doubt it. He is just having a fun time with his kids. Don't jump to conclusions. I love my country, because of its freedoms. Don't make people afraid to exercise them.(usa)

I hope your not implying that since he is middle easter that hes automatically a terrorist.. werent you ever young? didnt you watch airplanes land and take off? Maybe hes showing his sons something new to them.

terrorist ( P ) Pronunciation Key (trr-st)
n.
1. One that engages in acts or an act of terrorism.

notice it doesnt say "a man of middle easter decent who engages in acts of terrorism" other religious groups and ethnicities have their crazy bunch.. just because a REALLY FWAKED UP group of men did a horrible thing doesnt meant he whole nation of islam or anyone arab is a terrorist. If a white man who claimed to be chrisitan did the same thing would you call all white chrisitans terrorists? You would probably say "hes not a true chrisitan" which is what muslims are saying abt the jackasses that fwaked with America. Im not blowing up at you, you probably didnt even mean to imply that with what you said.. and I am not trying to piss anyone off.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that... I was making the assumption assuming that igdrasil saw a Middle Easterner and assumed terrorist.

**heh my edit made it a little clearer I think. :)

whatever....

I like those comments and thats what I wanted to hear. But the fact is.
His kid was talking to that little boy in the background about some kind of "exploding airplanes thing, and that he will do it".
That was the true issue that made me have some doubts, but the I thought, - "he's just a kid with his father and he wanted to see airplanes that day because his father was teaching him about what happened in sept 11"

Either way....I still have this in my mind. And if something happens here and I will feel bad.

I though I was going to be a power ranger when I grew up.. and that I was going to fight evil robots. But then I found computers and cars.. and now I dont want to be a power ranger n e more.

Remember that the World Trade Center attack happened because we live in a free society (example: freedom to travel). There really isn't a way to have total security at the same time as a free society (well maybe intelligence could have been better but that is another debate).

To me though I would rather retain our freedoms than having a military-type state. No need to question someone because they are muslim or are wearing a turban. Otherwise we'd be giving into terrorism.

I never seen a Middle Easter person, but I have seen Middle Eastern people. It does not matter if he is with his kids he maybe showing them how to Hi Jack an airline. 0Or he may be showing his children how large the aircraft are. Hey after 9-11 everything has changed my friend. Oh and Bin Ladden is in CANADA LOL.

I don't understand what you're trying to say... When you say it does not matter what he is doing...do you mean he should be thought of suspiciously because of how he looks?

What does "werd" actually mean?

Remember that the World Trade Center attack happened because we live in a free society (example: freedom to travel).

Well, maybe I dont share your opinion on this, theres a lot more behind those attacks, and I think one is:

a misconception of word - "freedom and democracy" around the world.

As these days we all know the US doesnt have enough military resources to fight for their freedom. The have economy power instead.
The EURO is becoming more powerfull and valuable, if the EURO overcomes the $$, then US will loose that power.

Can somebody correct me if Im wrong.

yeah...even my car insurance wrote me a letter about changes in the policy, for now, its optional.

Insurance against terrorism actions on properties and life.:wtf:

Good points

What I really meant to say, is not, "it happened because," but more like "it was able to happen because," really more in terms of a security perspective. The motivations for the attack are a whole 'nother hairball. For example we cannot know everything that a person is going to do because of something known as privacy. Theoretically someone can exchange "ideas" over the phone, meet up with someone in a private place and talk to them, etc. Well for that example assume you haven't attracted any attention by the FBI or CIA :). And yeah you could say that's an over-simplification of the issue. ;)

(my thoughts, not necessarly the truth by the way :D)

Oh no someone taking pictures of airplanes!
Please there are all kinds of places like that around the world where you can go watch the planes.

Here in DC there is a park right at the end, where they land/take off within 500-600 overhead.

Oh and remember what happen when we thought all terrorist were "middle-eastern". The fed building got bombed....by a American Farm raised lad.

Oh and Werd is a new way to spell Word, which as mention means "ya" "what he said" etc.

Yeah, when I lived in (Falls Church) Virginia, I remember being excited to make the bike ride with my dad out to National to see the planes.
