WTB: Protege5 Roof Rack Filler 'Caps'

The noise the cross bars make with the sun roof open is annoying, and I'm sure it's not doing my gas mileage any favors, so I'm looking for the 4 'caps' that snap into place and cover the gap when you remove the cross bars.

Mazda wants about $25/ea for them, hard to justify $100 for 4 small pieces of plastic, hoping someone has some laying around they'll sell me.

Well that didn't work out -- thejash has the fillers if you want to completely remove your rack -- veritcal rails included. I just want to remove my cross bars, leaving the rails in case I want to put them on later.

So, back in the hunt if anyone has a set.

I'm very interested in buying the cross bars. I will mail the filler caps for free to whoever sells the crossbars to me.

Do you need just the bars themselves, or the whole assembly for the cross bars? Some of the plastic trim pieces are so brittle on mine they snapped when I went to take off my bars the other day.. the bars themselves are in excellent shape though.

I have the side-rails, and they are capped. That's all I have. I just went out to look at them and noticed a piece of one of the filler caps had broken off...they are very brittle indeed. Would you still be interested in selling the cross-bars? Are they all I need if i have the side-rails with filler caps?

No, I went down this road with someone else and decided it'd probably be best for me to keep the cross bars for when I sell the car...
