Have you changed you mind on wheels choices lately?

Looking for a set of Kosei KS T1 wheels.

17"x7", +50mm offset, 5x114.3, graphite finish.
Must be in very good/excellent condition. No cracks, dents or rash.

Oh why didn't I buy the ones RacerXgirl was selling a few months back?? (dark) (chair)

PM me here if you have a set you want to sell.
Thanks.

Whoa!! I'm impressed! Thanks man!
He doesn't want to ship and don't know of he'll part with only the wheels. I'll have to write him to find out, but I sure appreciate YOUR efforts!!
Thanks again! I'll let you (all) know.

Well, it seems he's not interested in seperating the wheels/tires, nor does he really want to have to pack and ship. I can't say I blame him too much. But he said he'd keep me in mind if they don't sell, so there is some hope yet.

No, but they only list +42's in a 17" and I'm not sure how many of those they have ("low stock.")

Use a Protege5 for your vehicle instead, then the +50mm will show up. It shows as 10/19 or 11 before availability though, BUT Tirerack is awesome and would recommend them highly.

These wheels will look really good on a 3 :) I had them for my P5 and loved them but they were a little bit big for the car.

Yours may be the P5 I stole some pics from to get the idea. Were you involved in the sale of RacerXgirls K1 TS's?

I wish I had bought hers then... A great deal, but no $$$ and the wife woulda' KILLED me. (cryhard)
So I divorced the wife.... Not really.....
(lol)

All right, so I spent about 1/2 hour on the phone w/them today and the salesman I talked to was unsure why the 50mm was not listed for the 3 models.
He was going to have a member of their CAD team run it up and get back to me early next week. I don't see any issues here, since the OEM is 52.5mm and the difference in wheel width is on 1/4" (6.35mm) per side, or 12.7mm total. There should be plenty of clearance for that little bit, while still maintaining a very reasonable offset difference.
Thanks for the tip! Wish I had thought of that... or why they (TireRack)didn't?
I'll let you know how it all turns out!

I ordered my wheels and a set of Kumho's on Friday. They were expecting 2 sets in light gray/graphite, whatever the color actually is, but not until late this month.
The salesman/CS person, Cy, said, "Hey! We got in 4 sets today!! How did that happen?"
He did some checking and it turns out that Kosei made a "shipping" mistake. i told Cy that I was going on his original date and wasn't expecting them that quickly. That I needed some time (to break it to the wife, truth be told.)
So, he authorized my card and put the wheels on a slow boat to another warehouse where they'll mount and balance the tires, then put the whole mess on a slow boat to me @ which time they'll actually charge my card.
If it all works out, I should be getting them in about 3 weeks. Divorce in 3.5 weeks.
Sometimes ya' just gotta' do what you just gotta' do.

Thanks for the advice and the find, khaosman!!

OK khaosman, here ya' go!! They came in yesterday and I took some quick pics. Kumho ASX's, 225/45-17" are installed. Still need to do the suspension.
I must warn you though, I was using the same pic program for years and got really good with it, but it won't run on this new machine. I'm not too crazy about this new one and am not too crazy about having to learn all over again, so they may not look the best.

They look great man! The wheel finish accents the color of the car perfectly. Wheel well gap isn't too bad, but once you have your suspension on... voila!

Ah yes... the suspension.... ? (lol)
Thanks for your comments and especially for your suggestion. 'Course being a former owner I'm sure you knew better than I what I was getting. I appreciate your help in all of this, and the TireRack guys should thank you too for pointing out their web-oversight.
They are beginning to discontinue them however. The 18"er's are already on closeout. :(
