id take a stock.. i can port them for better flow.. a stock mani can get me where i want.. and a port/polished spipe flows as good as a corksport..

i wouldnt port the stock manifold and s-pipe. Those cast pieces already take enough abuse and are prone to cracking. Thinning them will just exacerbate the problem.

I don't blame you..lol me and another member said the price was a little steep, plus it's only 30 bucks cheaper than new from PG. I got my v2 for a helluva lot less than that but he wants that price because he paid 425 directly from SS

He better drop the price in to the 200's if he wants to get it sold. I could have got one for 230ish but passed be ause I wanted the aem fic at the time.

lowest i can do it 300plus shipping thats not a bad deal either considering its only about a month old perfect condition and never even opend to change the map at all.

I have a brand new stock replacement Garrett GT2554 turbo with the wastegate actuator and bracket included (and installed). It's totally brand new, so there are absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. I have checked and none of the vendors or other distributors (that I know of) sell them for less than $950.00 (+shipping), and that's without the wastegate actuator & bracket.

I can sell mine for $700.00 shipped and I'll include a stainless steel gasket that fits where the turbo mounts to the exhaust manifold. Let me know if you're interested, or I'll just start a for sale thread in a day or two. I also have an Apex 2.5" catted downpipe (one piece J-Midpipe) for sale which includes a O2 sensor for $200 + shipping.

sorry to thread jack, but the turbo from matrix: will that be a direct replacement for my existing turbo, meaning I take one out and put the other in?
thanks,

also does anyone know how to determine if a turbo is blown or screwed? and how could i repair the existing one for a reasonable price? And would buying a disco potato be a better option if the stock turbo is indeed blown?

Yes indeed. You won't even need to clock it. I'll probably start a For Sale thread for it and the Apex downpipe later this evening with pictures.

You can tell if a turbo is blown a number of ways. Excessive oil leaking from the exterior, oil in your intake pipes, or if you remove the tubo and spin either impeller and it doesn't spin freely or if it wobbles a bit.

A disco potato upgrade would be great, but keep in mind the fact that this route requires tuning with engine management hardware and software to function properly. It's not a "swap & drive" job.

Still looking for forged goodies? I may be parting out my build. Anything else you may need?
