FTC IS and afc, just with a second map for changing timing if you so choose. And for that price, why the hell not?

then just leave all the MAP B settings at 10 and don't use it until some future time when you do. At some point you'll want to learn how to tune it because the AFR and timing maps function in the exact same way.
