oh yeah man take it in monday to get it fixed =) insurance company was easy as all get out. now onto waiting for the body shop to take 1 month.

Little late now... But for next time (you other kids listen too!) when it starts to skid - 'pump' the brake pedal rapidly... Me? I would have come off the brake and steered into it until it straightened out. Did oyu have witnesses he was over the center line? It may make all the diference in court...

Everybody! Go out on a slick/rainy/snowy day in an empty parking lot and understand how your car reacts in a skid. It is f*u*n and may save your life one day.

soo the insurance company has decided to fix it... 4500$.. more than i freeakkking paid for the thing.. but oh well i love me some p5 so.. all the power to waiting a month now.

I just replaced my 01 Protege ES with an 02 Protege5 because my wife totalled my 01. Here is the sad thing... Just got her 06 Mazda6 out of the shop with a new front end. Not our fault something fell off a truck and there was nowhere to go. Hope it all works out for you... PS I like my 5 better than the ES!!!

Well.. insurance decided not to repair it and i have a check in the mail.. i cant find another p5 around here.. anyone selling one on the east coast? im in tennessee...

Mine is pretty rough, but I would consider selling it...

As soon as I get this bad fuel thing figured out. Got fuel the other day, drove to work, no problem, now its stuck here at work, won't start. Cold as $h!+, even over here in Memphis...

I've got $3500 in it, I would just like to get my investment back out. KBB and other sites say its worth more, even with high mileage...

I'll most likely have it towed to a shop tomorrow, hopefully the repair bill won't be too high...

ah thanks for the offer and info bro.. sadly i have to say... i am going tomorrow to buy a 2001 isuzu trooper... haha. so i guess im not going to need this fourm as much as i did. which sucks.. lot of nice guys(and gals?) here.. Best wishes guys. thanks!!
