MSP-->RX8-->Something big, quick, and German
Noticed I probably have a toe issue, when my steering wheel is slightly off. Maybe 5 or 6 degrees. They said they'd reallign it for free. I have about 3500 miles on it.

On a side note, does anybody know if correcting this will mess with the MSP's unique alignment setup?

there is no unique alignment. the tsb was issued because the alignment was off when they were shipped from the factory(it was for the techs at the dealerships to fix mazdas screw up). It was covered in another thread i dont remember the title though

I'm 99% sure the guy above is wrong. The MSPs were all alligned at the dealership, not at the factory.

So anyway, the dealership should do it for free and no it shouldn't mess up the alignment.

Very wrong....the Pre Delivery Inspection on the vehicle doesn't call for alignment. If you're alignment was off, it was due to the factory. Mazda covers alignments like all other "adjustments". 12 months 12,000 miles. They will align for free if there is a true problem and not a tire pull.

All I know is I remember reading an interview with Calvin Hirashi (1 of the main Mazda engineers) and in it they asked him about the alingment changes between the MP3 and the MSP. In his answer he stated that "alignment is an art" and that all MSPs would get an alignment at the dealerships. I wish I could find the article.......

Anyway, the main point is that the MSP's alignment is different from other protege's so make sure they do it right.
