I'm a regular on NASIOC (I designed the website's logo, actually) and I can tell you that there are plenty of people who...albeit grudgingly....admit that the MS3 is tough to beat for the money.

They can cry 'FWD SUCKS!' all they want, but most know that it's not that great a handling advantage except in launching the car and driving in adverse weather. The MS3 has enough grunt to get moving, good sticky tires to hold the road, and firm suspension that's not too jarring but plenty capable of taking the turns with grace.

Many have admitted that while they will always love their Scoobys, Mazda put together a very good car with the Speed3.

I hear that. Why do you think I read all 11 pages. But yea people on nasioc(north american subaru impreza owners club) like to talk alot and some of them are real ass holes. From what they were saying it sounds like there scared(cabpatch)

Like AG DesignWorks said, there seem to be numerous knowledgeable people in that forum. I personally don't get why they're all heated over it though. I mean... in the end, you buy what you like, right?

All the talk about faster trap speed blah blah means nothing to me because I'm an IT professional, not a dragracer. -_-;; I love driving cars, and frankly if I have a fun ride whether it be the MS3, STI, R32, Evo, 335i, G37, etc. and have a good time, that's good enough for me. *^_^*

well considering i drive on average 120 miles per day in mine, i can say that they are under some huge misconceptions. It as comfortable and tame as you can ask for but when i take it to the autox course or road course, its fun as can be

I test drove a WRX and had a s*** eating grin the whole time. I test drove my Speed3 and had a s*** eating grin the whole time. I just liked the Speed3 a little more so I bought it. To each his own.

Seem like the speed3 is the talk of the town. I remember when the srt4 was hottest car out and was being compared to the evo, wrx and the msp.

And what is everyone's obsession with plastics? I mean I know they are trying to judge interior quality, soft=better or something but In my experience harder=better when talking about most things
