Would the rx-8 rims and tires fir our mazda 3

its a 225 45 r18 - 18x8 ..would these fit our m3 without rubbing the fender if i lower the car at 1.5inch?

I know they fit, just have no idea if they would with that much drop. Do you have a speed3 thats lowered 1.5 or a Reg 3 that is lowered 1.5, cause if it a regular 3, I think it might work cause i think theres a few guys here running rx-8 rims and tires on there speed3's. I'd seach around or I'm sure someone will post some more info.
 
Here is a pic of mine. I have the Eibach Pro Springs on it with RX-8 wheels. I have 225/40/18 tires on them and the only problem with rubbing I have is when I am backing up and turning my wheels all the way. This only happens in one direction, I think it is when my wheels are turned all the way to the right ... so I don't do it.

I have them on my 2007 HB. No rubbing ever. I had it lowered on Eibach pro kit with Toyo FZ4 225/40/18 tires. I didnt have issues at full turn or with my family in my car. Fine now too. A 45 series may fit on stock suspension, but I am not 100% sure. Different tires will yield different results as well.
