Would a hood scoop make a difference?

Thinking about how people worry about the intercooler on the engine. Would a hood scoop allow cool air to flow over it and work better or stay cooler? Hypothetically speaking, of course as I don't know of anything out there.

You'd get a lot better residual heat dissipation.

It's not about the total whp gain, but more about increasing the efficiency, and longevity of the intercooler cooling intake charges to it's max.

Oh my god, do a search. There's already plenty of good air flowing over the intercooler from the ducting on the underside of the hood.

i was going to say my hood has some ducting under it. mabe you got the bare bones edition that didnt include it. seriously thou i belive it is the size of our intercooler is the problem not the ducting. i cant remember where i read it but ducting only needs to be 10% surface area of intercooler to be effective.

get a bigger core intercooler it will be more effective! 3.25 from PG 550 bux ez bolt on, go buy one!
