leroy genkins is very old haha it has come to light that it is staged. but anyways

I am now a lvl 52 warrior on mannaroth(sp can go to hell) lol and im running st i was able to get two epics from st and im happy haha! im just tyring to grind my way to 60 basically and ive been crunching this past week logging many man hours into the game!

Its impossible to fallow my shananagins

I traded in the STi almost a year ago when I refocused toward getting a house. Getting a mortage on my own with a $600/month car payment was impossible so I had to dump it. I miss the hell out of that car. Now it looks like I may end up back with a 2003 mazda LX if I have a problem getting the loan for my addition.

It never ends.

I have the opposite problem. My friends all play and I'm trying to force myself to like it. But as far as other games I've played, it's really lacking.

I notice a distint cookie cutter feeling about everything.
Your upgrade path is very linear and VERY limited.
There aren't many classes or races.
The meaningless quests get a bit tiresome. IE: Talk to bob, bring him this sandwich.. "wtf.. you must be kidding me, he's right across the street!"
And then you have the level treadmill of it all.

I play on a pvp server right now "bleeding hollow", and pvp serves no purpose. I can kill or be killed all day long and gain or lose nothing except my free time. For that matter, there's no penalty for death whatsoever by mobs and humans a like?

The bottom line is that I think this game has flared up in popularity so quickly because it's easy. You're forced to only use specific weapons and armor, everyone gets the same quests, and no penalties for death or pvp loss.

The pint of PvP is the honor system which allows you to get better gear. There are PVP only vendors that will sell you different stuff only if you are a high enough rank. So you either have to hit level 60 and then track through molten core, onyxia's lair ect or fight people non stop in the gulch. I agree that the honor system is flawed. PvP can be rather fun but pointless unless you are level 60.

Thats the only major flaw to the game, to do anything cool you have to be level 60.

BC is so much full of awesome, they have improved so much of the game, UI, character skills, talents, and all, not just new areas. Alternative talent trees will respected a lot more in raids now, and possibly even needed. Also, random easy to find BOE Greens are better than most the tier 1 lvl 60 epic gear you might have.

AS for guild on manno, depends on what gear you have on your warrior. Most guilds I'm looking at probably won't take anyone with all tier 2 and experience with all the edgame instances, or the equivalent of such, like Vind, Illuminati, Maleficient, Rapture - bleh, Predestined (not gonna get in that )

Not familiar with many smaller less serious guild honestly.

DOes the expansion set reset everyones levels or any gayness like that?

I am a mostly Tied 2 druid and if all that is going back to the begging then I am friggen done with this game.

no it wont set you back, the expansion is just that expands on the games with two new races and some new worlds and more instances. it raises the level cap to 70 so no all your work isnt worth squat! and no there is no reset, horde get pally's and alliance get shamans now.
