Any player here in the forums.
if you play on stormscale leave ur namr and ill add you to my friends

I play on Blackhand, name is either Amigo or Amiga.

This game is incredible, i'm loosing countless hours of sleep trying to balance my love for my car and my love of WoW....

the game is incredible i play on manoroth and its fun. adicting but fun. did you guys know they stopped producing the game because they couldnt support any new players? the servers are full and they are trying to fix it, or so im told.

I have the opposite problem. My friends all play and I'm trying to force myself to like it. But as far as other games I've played, it's really lacking.

I notice a distint cookie cutter feeling about everything.
Your upgrade path is very linear and VERY limited.
There aren't many classes or races.
The meaningless quests get a bit tiresome. IE: Talk to bob, bring him this sandwich.. "wtf.. you must be kidding me, he's right across the street!"
And then you have the level treadmill of it all.

I play on a pvp server right now "bleeding hollow", and pvp serves no purpose. I can kill or be killed all day long and gain or lose nothing except my free time. For that matter, there's no penalty for death whatsoever by mobs and humans a like?

The bottom line is that I think this game has flared up in popularity so quickly because it's easy. You're forced to only use specific weapons and armor, everyone gets the same quests, and no penalties for death or pvp loss.

Just my $00.02

I don't think it's too easy...I do think EQ is too hard though (or at least way too time consuming).

Anyway, I play on suramar - my name is Erenthos.

word, what he said.

i dont know WOW is easy to pick up which is what i like. i played DAOC for a bit...well bought it and played the 30 day trial because of friends and i didnt pick it up. it really didnt interest me. over the summer i played city of heros which is a great easy game to play. i feel as thought WOW is more simplistic but difficult at the same time, its an addicting easy game to play. Large communities friendly people many a guild. yes i do agree that some quests are tedious in that they send youo half way around the world for a delivery, or to the next town over, or in the very same town but you deal with it. there are many difficult quests thouse, elites, and what not that make up for it. different classes do different things, yes classes are confined to certain weapons but your not going to see a hunter using a weapon intended for mages or so you shouldnt in my opinion. overall its a fun easy game. i have been told that the game really doesent start until you reach lvl 60, but its from opinion from guild and friends. i have a friend who is lvl 60 and he plays a lot, kills dragons, sells stuff, goes on raids, ganks horde, you know typical stuff. i guess its a you like or dislike theme for these types of games.

I just started playing yesterday. Level 6 Human Rogue on Uldum named Axela, after my 05 MZ3s of course!

It's not easy, many Quests are class specific, and it the Quests are not "bring sandwich to bob" except in the beginning to teach newbs how to play.

Anyway I am on SkullCrusher, Chaden, 31 Rogue

sup haze? how is the Rogue at 31? what route did you take? Combat mainly or Subtlety?

Mostly Combat. Almost Rank 5 on Master of Deception though. Once you get to a certain level stealth doesn't mean much since most things will be done in parties.

What profession will you choose? I did Leatherworking to go with SKinning, but if I were you I would do enchanting. Leatherworking is too costly to level up and since SO many people are up there selling the same stuff at the AH prices aren't that high so its cheaper to buy the armor than it is to get high enough to make it.

"MORTER COMBAT!!!!!!!..."

It's a good game. I like warcraft, age of empires, command & conquer, etc. It's not so much of the fun, strategy, graphics or story lines... but some of the funny things the people say or do. It's like playing God.... and since I cant strike anyone down myself per se, I can surely send them off to battle and come away with either a victory or get creamed. lol And all the while sitting on my ass, in the luxury of my home, whilest sending little computer men or beasts off to do my bidding. .... good times, good times....

That may be true about the enchanting, but I am having alot of fun Leather working and there is something very satisfing about wearing armor I made myself. I am sort of the friendly rogue with leatherworking, cooking and first aid skills.

I love this game!

Currently have a lvl 25 - Hunter on Stormscale - Name: Scoobie

Of all the MMORPGs this has got to be the easiest one to get in to. I can see why some people might think it's too simple but I can gaurantee they didn't give it enough chance.

Counter-Strike fo LIFE!! but seriously i would like to get into it but i hate the fact that you have to pay to play.. i'm currently playing ROSE online and would like to get into WoW soon
