Took 1hr, 15min for both. It would have taken about 45 minutes, but one of the bolts was being a pain in the ass, and i kept bullshitting with my best friend, who was installing a greddy turbo on his civic in the stall next to me...it was awesome to rent the bay for 7 dollars with a full lift, and EVERY tool you could possibly imagine at your fingertips...even if the throw was the same size, the shfiter would be worth it just for the material its made out of...the damn stock shifter was bad enough because it was so long, but to make matters worse when i slammed it into gear, you could feel the damn thing practically bend...not so with the B&M

Yeah man.... I love my B&M. So solid. It was a little bit of a biotch to get the shifter into the housing and then putting in the snap ring!

it feels like a difference between shifting with a sponge and a cast iron block...its that solid...and with the bushings, its very stiff...ive eliminated the problem i had, where i would have a hard time putting the car into reverse sometimes with the stock shifter...

Sounds like you've found at least one positive about the great state of Oklahoma - $7 bay with lift & tools!!!

oh i never noticed...i love it...there is a little low pitched noise from under the shifter when i push it from side to side in neutral, im not sure what the problem is.

Did you make sure that the shifter wasn't tapping up against the heat shield that is around the exhaust on the underside of the car?? I have the exact same setup and noticed a metallic clicking sound the first few days or so. After about a week, the shifter was fully "set" and "settled" it really reattled the hell out of that heat shield. All I had to do was bend it a little to keep the shifter from touching it. Hope that helps some. Also, could you do me a favor and either PM me or message me on MSN@ saranbobby@hotmail.com. Thanks a lot.
