VIVIDYELLOW,

There is a single black pinstrip on both sides of the car. I did it myself. First I tried the pinstrip along the crease that runs along the side of the car - wasn't real happy with it - so decided to move it down about 3 inches UNDER the crease, and I like this better.

ALEXMACK,

I'm originally from S. Wisconsin. I've been living in Robbinsdale for a few years - Uptown area before that.

Hey Woody,

Where did you find the magnetic bra? How much was it and how do you like it? Also, where in S. Wisconsin? I used to live there many, many, many years ago. I take it you have been to Road America several times?

LOOKS REALLY SWEET. I AM THINKING ABOUT DOING SOMETHING SIMILAR. WHAT KIND OF FONT IS THAT? JUST WONDERING. THANKS.

Thanks Guys,

The bra is magnetic - its great. I got it from Mitch at Protege5online.com. It was pretty cheap - like $40 as I recall.

MAKEMINEMAZDA,

I grew up in Janesville, Wisc - still have parents there. I got my undergraduate from UW-Madison. But no, never been to road america.

PRO5ZOOM,

I beleive that was Euro Bold Extended. Go to decalzone.com - they have an example page.

SILVER -

OK. This is a long story, but I guess we have time.

When I was a kid my hair was redder than it is now (now its kind of strawberry blond I guess). Anyway, so other kids called me "Woody" after Woody Woodpecker. So time goes by, I start posting to a sport-bike forum, and there are too many Brian's - so I revert to my ealier nick-name, Woody. And now tend to use this in most forums I post to.

Woody, I see your license plate holder is not as big as the one most of us have. Did it came like that or did you modify yours.

MAC DADDY,

Yes, the brackets I used are generic ones from Checker auto. I was trying to paint the stock brackets yellow to match the car. After more work that I thought was involved, they were looking pretty good, until I applied clear coat. The clear coat was incompatible with the paint I used, and caused a chemical reaction that made an absolute mess of my paint job. So I said, "to heck with this..." threw the stock brackets away and bought generic ones to be done with it.

I have smoked plastic covers over the license plates - which I think are illegal, but I have not gotten stopped yet.

Yes - I just had one order from them. But they seem really nice to work with.

can you go into this in a bit more detail... i tried taking the original bracket off and found that the spacing used to mount the original bracket isn't standard...

did you have to drill new holes or did the new bracket have the same spacing as the original bracket??

thanks,
tyr
