women in sigs

Ok, this has been brought up before, and it's getting a little out of hand imho.

not only do we have people making huge ass sigs. now we have huge ass sigs with half naked chicks in them

Now I love all attractive women just as much as the next straight guy, but browsing this forum as of late is becoming extremely risky while at work, or while using the computer with other people ( girlfriends/wives/kids) around and can be misleading to those at times.

Of course, I'm just one guy amongst almost 8000 forum members, but I'm wondering if I'm alone?

For the record I don't have a problem with the Avatar ones. their small and don't stand out.

ah yes, the sig option. So let me get this straight, I am too turn off the sig option, and turn off everything, just because a few guys have a thing for sexy sigs.

I like seeing some sigs,pics of cars and mods listed. I don't want to turn them off.

I agree too. I like to see peoples sigs so I don't want to turn the pictures off, it just sucks when the page is loading up and the boss comes around the corner to find a 7 inch picture of half naked chicks on a "car enthusiast" site. Oh well. I am not for censorship, so you folks do what you like, just maybe keep the working class in mind.

I wouldn't change someone's sig but I'd say it's a little inappropriate to have half naked chicks in there... If I want porn I know where to go, and it's not this website.

Um, yea ofcourse you can, but that's totally beside the point.

I want to see all of the other sigs and avatars so I can see their nice car pics and mod lists and stuff. I shouldn't have to miss out on that cause some people feel like putting up racy s***.

I don't know if censoring sigs the appropriate thing to do though. I agree with the post, though, it's annoying!

There is no reason to censor anything. Who cares if you have a problem with women in the sigs? This is an absolute idiotic thread anyways. Most of these guys have their cars to try and pick up chics. Not all of us sit at home and dream about them. Think of something better to b**** about

Here's a thought.

what if all the girls on the site started sticking hot guys in their sigs. Now, I'm sure you guys wouldn't want that.....I know I don't ever want to see it. I'd jesus leave this place in a heart beat.

Another things about sigs....I use them to navigate. It's great to be able to scroll up/dwn a page quickly looking for someone's sig that you recognize maybe to pick up where you read last, or see what a certain member has to say. Yes there are other ways to do this, but sigs are the easiest way I find.

hey I agree I can not open pages when my kids are around for fear of half naked women. I turn sigs off at work because some of them are so big and we have dial up, at work at home I have cable so it loads fast. I agree there is a time and a place for everything

And Enry is right, you want porn, there's a billion places to go for it as we all know. I'd rather keep the site respectable rather then fill each thread with these sexy sigs.

For the record, this thread is no more pointless then the lets remove the posts count thread in my opinion. I know I have had to explain that "this is a CAR site.....no really it is" to more then one person in my defense.

IMO we need a less repressed society where it's not such a big issue to be exposed to images of a sexual nature. TV and movies are loaded with images of violence and little real effort is made to reduce our exposure to that, but try showing any basic nudity, and all hell breaks loose.
