Wiring Harnessess for car alarm

Has anyone had to buy wiring harnessess for you car alarms if so which ones and for what alarms and cost. Thanks. I had a friend of mine who installed one from crutchfield for his type r and needed harnessess, that's mainly why I am asking.

You dont really need harnesses to install your alarm but it makes it easy if you are trying to install it yourself. I would never recommend installing an alarm on your own unless you have alot of experience with electronics and using a multimeter. The harnesses that Crutchfield sells are meant to work with their alarms only. Installing an alarm incorrectly could damage you ecu or other components in the car. Hope this helps.

I have installed a Car Alarm into my Mazda MP3 with remote start and everything. Nices cars I have ever had to work on I can help with an install if needed ( I will at least Try )
