Wiring harness?

ok i got the wiring harness for my mazda 3 and now i am about to hook it up. but the only thing is i have a couple wires i have no idea where they need to go all my wires are hooked up except for 3 of them one is a orange wire that says ILLUMIN. the 2nd is a brown wire that says TEL-MUT. and the 3rd is blue and says AUTO ANT.. can someone please help me on figuring out where these wires go cause i have no idea. thanks.

As long as you have all of the wires comming from the radio going somewhere into the harness then your ok. There may be unused wires on the harness, I had 3 or 4 as well.

was u hooking up a cd/dvd combo also? thats what i am hooking up and i at least thought i would need to have the illimin hooked up

I wasnt, but I think as long as all the wires comming out are hooked up then you have no where else to put the other wires corret? The one I had that said illimin was for the dim control or something, the tel-mut is some kinda mute or something and the auto ant is probably for those auto antennas that pop out when you turn on your radio. Im not 100% sure but as I said before, if everything comming out is hooked up then you should be ok...might wanna wait for some more resposes...beacuse im just the local forum retard anyways lol. ok cool thanks. what u said about the illumin helped because i know i dont need a dimmer on my aftermarket. the other 2 i could care less about. i dont a tel mut and i dont need a auto ant. i already have the casing for the original antenna. i think the other antenna may be for a tv tuner but i dont want that anyway. but thanks again..

yeah, I try. I just cant say for sure though. I had a illumin wire that I didnt use, and a mute thing i didnt use as well. My head unit has a brightness option anyways, there might be a way to hook it up to the dash light dimmer but i dont know where it would go into the unit at, you should be good though. you dont use those wires. Just cut em and tape up the ends. Even with my flip out dvd player i dont use those wires.
