Wiper blade arms

My wiper blade arms are beginning to corrode extensively and I am beginning to look at repainting them come spring. How do you remove the portion of the arm above the hinge? I see there is a spring holding it on in addition to two pins on either side, how do you remove those?
 
That section of the arm should not be removed, it has a through pin, if removed it would
be difficult to impossible to re-assemble. The wiper arms should be removed at the lower
end from the wiper arm connector shaft. Pry off the cap to expose a nut. Remove the nut,
and the arm slips off the wiper arm connector shaft. You may have lever the arm in and out
to get it to slip off the shaft splines.
