Where do you live? If you live in an area with moderate to heavy snowfall go straight up snows...maybe blizzaks or something similar. Where I live we get snow, but only a couple big storms in a winter. I use the falken Ziex512 and the car pulls well even in a few inches of snow, plus you still get great handling out of the tire.

If you don't was to compromise handling as much go all-season...if you want to turn you ms3 into a truck in the snow go steelies with blizzaks. Also keep on the lookout for clearance wheels on tires.com or the like. You'd be surprised of the amount of nice looking rims you can find for cheap, plus your car will look about 10x better with an alloy.

Thanks, Colorado, Boulder is my home/ Performance isn't issue. We have Mag-Chloride on the roads for de-ice so I won't be doing much. I read somewhere that I can get 16" rims and use standard snows but I cannot remember where on the internet I read this. Ever heard of 16's for MS3?

I think there are actually a few people here running 16" steelies with snows...I think that would be a very tight fit with the huge brakes up front. I would go 17" just to be safe. It might be a little $ between the two.
