If anyone wanted to see what there car might look like, here is mine with BS Blizzak WS-50. 195/55QR15. I have covers too, but Im painting them Black, so theyll be on this weekend
No rain or snow, but the dry pavement driving is not too bad What am I saying the damn car feels like a boat. I cant wait to get my new rims on. Damn things set me back $585 ( Tire Rack ).

I share your pain! Got Dunlop Graspics and the car woobles all over the place with just a bit of throttle...
I feel like the car's on rollerblades, it's terrible!

:'(
My friends tell me it looks ghetto, they call it "GhettoSpeed" now...

Funny, got similar comments cuz I did put some cheap walmart hub caps on it...it really does have the ghetto style baby!

I'll add to Ping's update on the Semperits --- I've been adequately impressed with their cornering ability - they have to be 1 of the better handling snow tires with a 55 sidewall. It won't knock your socks off, but it's decent for a snow tire. And they are nice and quiet despite the agressive tread pattern. There were 2 days I have driven them in snow and some ice so far and they handled it like cake - I mean it was as if the road was dry. This was only in about 1 inch of snow though so that's not a real big test .... but even in that my old 2000 ES with the stock tires would be almost undrivable! So far I'm very happy with the Semperits.

Another adder:

Do NOT drive with winter tires on one axle and regular tires (especially the 040's) on the other. The difference in grip between the two WILL throw you, and it'll swap ends faster than you can say "OH SHi...". Don't ask me how I know. In addition, the thing'll plow mercilessly in the dry with snows on the front and 040's on the back.

Get 4.

Oh - and with the black wheels, to save from having to buy some scheesy plastic wheelcovers, paint a yellow (or contrasting) pinstripe around the lip - very NASCAR...

ping - Good points ....also do not use the snows on one side of the front, the LSD will be upset with different sizes, this is stickered inside the trunk.

yeah, snows on front, and summers on back are a dumb move. Great for fish tailing everywhere though. Besides, why wear down only two of your summers like that ? It's gonna cost you a hell of a lot more to replace two summers, then to buy all 4 winters.
