what do you guys do before the season sets in (or have you already?) just curious as to what each of us goes through to make it through another cold wet season.

first winter for me with my car, slowly getting it ready. I went to get my new blizzaks mounted and balanced and bolted on my car, but I decided against bolting them on since its supposed to be 50-60 degrees for another week. I still need to buy some all-weather mats, mud flaps to keep the salt and sand off the sides, and a roof rack for the trips to the mountain.

an eagles fan in vt??? wow man i am sorry

yeah i am leaning towards gettin mudflaps for the season as well. going to get it detialed to put a nice coat of wax on it and put the studded snows on sometime around thanksgiving is my plan....

this winter i am switching back to stock intake from the cai after last winters mis-hap with a puddle. I also run my stock steelies with blizzaks non-studded. Thinking about taking the front lip off, however it did survive last winter perfectly fine. I already gave my car its final wax and detail before winter. I usually use the car wash bays to spray it off throughout the winter. Also, make sure coolant is topped off, make sure all connections for s*** like my HIDs are still tight, and make sure the battery is still good to go. This winter should be a little bit better for me considering I dont have my 74mile one way commute to school anymore. I keep an extra coat in the trunk, and a small tool case with a ratcheting nut driver with a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm and a 3/8 ratchet with a 17mm socket also phillips and regular screw drivers.

jacobs is an animal him and barber are prob to 2 toughest runners in the league imo (and i don't like the boys or the giants but those guys bring a load when they run)

ALERT!

there is another VT driver spotted!

Deerek, i usually replace my CAI with the stocker and then proceed to drive with my stock tires and spin all over the place until they are completely bald. then i usually buy a new set of winters :)

wierd ass peruvian vermonter... of all the places to live i still can't believe you ended up there... and the bald tire thing is scary in the winter in these cars, been there not doin it again!! snows ftw!

we of course don't get the crazy amount of snow here (MA) but just the same we need to be prepared...i don't do a whole lot...got my all seasons and winter rims on..used them for 3 seasons no problem, keep the car full of gas all the time..never know when the traffic will back up during a storm and you don't want to be running out of petrol! also keep the windsheild washer tank full and an extra gallon on board, just in case. keep the tires well inflated....and go slow when the snow and ice sets in..(this part sucks;))

good points Joe; yes always have a full tank of gas and windshield fluid. in the winter i always have a bottle of washer fluid in the trunk just in case.

Santa's got 8 reindeer sleigh I got 260+ horses!

we don't get a ton of snow? I wouldn't say we have a lot of snow that sticks around long but we have the last few years gotten DUMPED on. Very good points I ran out of fluid a lot last year. I remember those folks on 93 in December abandoning their cars... anyways back on topic...

Blizzak REVO 1's 215/55/16'' rim (I think thats the size from last year). These have been superb. Installed last weekend because last year I had to do it in sub freezing weather and that was terrible.
This year's addition were Rally Armor UR mud flaps. Already love their usefulness and it hasn't even snowed. Wish I had them last year. I think I'll get a good set of those weather floormats too when it gets closer to winter.

nice deal.
im still looking for the right set myself.

im debating what to do cause of the lack of spare tire. i would hate to get stuck with a flat in the middle of the highway in VT, it would take at least 1 hour to get a tow truck.
