Windy days hard on my doors

My door got caught by the wind today as i opened it (wind is gusting around 50mph id say.) It made a light popping noise at the end of the swing. Visually I cant see anything bent or broken. The stops look find and the bar that it swings on doesnt look bent or any different from the passenger side door.

Anyone think there is anything else i should check?

You should be OK, as long as it opens and closes like it always has I'd just forget it.

This happened to me in my old Ford Contour. Luckily the door was stopped by a very large black gentleman's black Ford Expedition on 22" wheels.

I've never been so scared in my life!

The door does seem to be opening and closing in accord with the passenger door. I guess I'll just keep an eye on it.

LOL.,, the same thing happened to me. Except the door hit another car next to me and bent the entire edge of my door.

The winds were really kicking that day.

Only thing I might add is to close the door tightly & inspect the seams, make sure it still lines up with the front fender & the rear door. Not only that the lines are straight, but that the surfaces align- door isn't sticking out further than fender, etc.

But I'd say 98.3% chance you're just fine.

According to my calculations, his chances are 97.45%, but with a acceptable variation of +/- 1%, both of our figures are statistically valid.

+.9 as not all of me agrees. But then again there is a margin of error of +/- .2

Bill Nye the Science Guy approves.
