Does anyone use these? ya know, the fold out sun reflectors that you place on your windshield to protect your dash from fading. I dont want my dash to fade or force me to put any kind of protector on it...dont like the greasy look...anyway, buy one or not?

definitely buy one. helps keep the car cool and protected, especially when your other windows are tinted

make sure it's pretty large as a lot of cheapo ones aren't big enough to cover the dash and fit under the visors, so they're a pain to use every time

^^^ I totally agree. I have one, dont use it because I forget to put it up 1/2 the time, but they are definately good to have. When I do use it the interior of my car isnt nearly as hot as without it, and in the Florida weather thats a plus!
The have one that you can put inside your car perminately, it sticks onto the sides of the pillars and you just pull it out and velcro it in the middle. I hope that made sense. They are cool, do a good job and you cant hardly notice it in the car.

NICE! thanks for the input guys...i went and looked at em today but they were all the cheap ones....is there a good or bad brand....i saw ones that looked like freakin aluminum foil didnt look to promising and it also looks kinda ghetto.

thanks

i just have a set of magic shades (i think around $10) that you can get from walmart. make sure to get the jumbo ones, the standard size doesn't fit our cars. they fit and work really well.

heres a pic of the one I have. its an old pic

I got one, and you really notice the difference when you just sit in your car or hold on to the steering wheel. Tinted windows help but you need something to cover the windshield. I remember a website talking about sunshades and showed that the dash can get hot enough to cook an egg or bake cookies.
