Windshield heater sound? CX-5 2019

Hello everyone,

I recently notice a whistle sound when the windshield heater is blowing on on high and highest speed.

It is not loud, but enough to getting annoyed by it.

Does anyone came across with the same issue?

OK I'll guess. Something in air hoses. One of the small vent doors hung up. Is your air filter clean?

Air filter should be clean. Just had a maintanace service from dealership. Have an appointment tomorrow at the garage and see what they will find. Lets hope something small and not a ventilator motor malfunction or something like that.

The noise went away by itself. It was maybe caused by a leaf that went into the ventilation shaft during air filter change, according to the car mechanic,
