window off track?

i noticed this last night and now its bugging me like crazy. i had my windows tinted a month ago and the job turned out perfect. last night i was looking out my passenger side window and noticed that it looks like about 1/4 inch wide and 4 inches long, along the window where it meets the back of the door, the tint is missing. i was about to call the tint guy, then i noticed that if i crack the window, just 1/4 inch or so, the window slides backwards slightly, and the gap in the tint is gone! basically, the window is shifting forwards and backwards between 1/4 inch down and fully closed. does this make sense?

anyone else run into this?

maybe mazda might warranty it. Not sure though, that aftermarket tint job might have voided your warranty.

they replaced the window regulator today and all is back to 'normal'.

Had a similiar problem but it was due to a loose regulator. No big deal, just annoying.
