window creaking

driver side window is creaking when it is rolled down 1/4 way, just open a little bit, etc. when window is closed or when it is 100% of the way down it is fine.

what do u think, is it loose and is it something the dealer 'might' be able to replicate and resolve?

Welcome to Mazda. The windows on my 6 were 100 times worse when it comes to noise. I sold the car because all the rattles and s*** were stressing me out. The windows on the Speed3 I have only rattle at one certain point. Moving the window slightly up or down from that point makes them go away. Compared to what I used to deal with, this is minor.

Good luck getting the dealer to do anything. Never worked for me on the other car.

In here with same issue

Just started on mine. Didn't have this issue last winter.

My car is filthy and I'm wondering if it's not the door seals. My 03 Accord did something simliar due to the door seals not being treated. They tended to become a bit dry and sort of made a noise. I didn't believe it at first, but when the dealer wiped it down with a softening / treament agent it went away.

I'm going to stop by the Honda dealer to get the product they used as they have it on my history of purchases.
