Will the MSP be mass produced for 2003.5?

Well will it? Does anybody have insight on this? It would be a very smart move for mazda if so. Possibly if its offered without all the goodies of the MSP like 17 inch wheels, susp and stereo. This could drop the price of the car to the 19,000 dollar range.

This would do several things

Give current MSP owners exclusivity of owning a limited car

Give MSP owners parts since no aftermarket manufacturers will produce application specific parts on a car that has only 2000 units.

I would defintly get one and fab up downpipes, FMIC's and turbo upgrades.

Since I really do want to autocross my Mazdaspeed Protege, and since lighter cars do everything better when it comes to racing, I would love it if they offered a "Clubsport MS Protege". Ditch the stereo, power windows/locks, A/C, power steering, side air bags, ABS, etc. I would probably even pay the regular price for it.

However, everything I've read so far has said this about the 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege:
The front air dam, rear skirt and rear spoiler are different.
The wheels have a darker finish, but are the same otherwise.
The two exterior colors are different.
The interior has yellow stitching in the place of the MS Pro's orange.
The interior features Mazdaspeed-branded pedals and shifter instead of Sparco pieces.
They will make 2500 of the 2003.5s.

Everything else is identical.
