cluth anf flywheel is the same.My tranny is down friend of mine has ms3 tranny if any one knows let me know

I'm not too sure, but I think someone has tried it. I believe they wanted to have a LSD up front.
The bad part, I don't think it worked for them.

The gearing is different between the two.

The MS6 uses the A-26 transmission, not sure about the MS3.

From the tech notes:

Manual Transaxle Changes
A26 MX-R
6-Speed Manual Transmission
Compact 3-shaft design keeps overall length the same as the 5-speed
manual transmission
Triple-cone synchronizers for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears
Double-cone synchronizers for 5th, 6th and Reverse
Wide gear ratios to exploit the engine’s power band

Gearing:
1st = 3.53
2nd = 2.23
3rd = 1.53
4th = 1.17
5th = 1.08
6th = 0.85
Rev = 3.83

should be same case, just different internals, same motor and everything. Let us know if you get it to work and how it does. Curious how the gearing changes the car...

There's a reason our cars aren't geared the same as the MS3, it probably should stay that way...

How much of a difference is there in gearing?

Actually, I retract my previous statement, they are geared the same.

Driving several MS3s, they always seemed to pull harder in different gears. I guess that's the ECU, not the transmission.

ok we got ms3 tranny on the ms6 annnnnnnnndd it works but on the low rps there is a noise (gearing noise) we will take it down and check everything again

yes but gears are different so no ms3 in ms6 sorry guys but i tried

The gearing is not different. I verified the MS6 gearing from the tech service manual with the specs on the Mazda USA website. Each drive gear is the same. The housings are not.
