Will a P5 axle back fit on a 03 sedan ?

Friend has a P5 axle back exhaust and was wondering if it would fit on my 2003 protege sedan ?

It will be too short and not line up with the rear bumper. Will be roughly 4"-6" short.

take it to a shop and have them weld a 5 inch pipe to the muffler.
