the short answer: maybe.

plenty of discussion has already passed about it, search for some of the threads.

If your car never breaks, no.
If it does, yes.
what he said....when something breaks thats the 1st thing they "Claim".....I did service work manny of times with mine.....and it's half custom so it stands out in the engine bay more than a regular bought cai...most of the times they enjoy hearing me come up cause I'm the onyone in the area to take a wrench and screwdriver to a 6... most dealerships will leave you alone....verry small handfull will mention it....remember when servicing they do the courtesy full circle inspection to let you know if you need tires, brakes, and other misc. matinence items

IT absolutley will never void your warranty. For one reason. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALER WITH IT ON!!!

I take mine in all the time with CAI, hardpipes, BOV, and midpipe, and they don't care. Find a dealer that's OK with it and treat them well. I asked the shop manager "what about a FMIC"? He said, so what? You're only cooling down the air a bit more, it's not like you're boosting to 15 lbs or anything (there was a strong message there...)

I understand that thanks, I take mine in modded to the dealer too, the dealer I trust anyway.

But for the guy who posted the thread, the guy pussyfooting around over an intake, the best bet is to take it off.

and as for the seven seas comment, they won't say anything you are being TOO paranoid.
