Will 2002-2003 Protege5 RIMS fit my 2014 Mazda3?

For winter tires.

The Protege5 alloy rims are 5-lug with 195/50/16 tires. I have a Protege and I frequent the junk yard for parts. Turns out I can get Protege5 alloys cheaper than new steel rims. I figured I can probably fit 205/60/16 winter tires on them (is it not too wide?), but will they fit my 2014 Mazda 3?

Both the Mazda Protege and 3 share the same bolt pattern (5x114.3) so they should fit no problem.

I'm not sure though if it'd be too wide. I'm sure someone else on this forum knows about this better than I do.

They'll fit fine. My '14 Sport came with 16" steel wheels, which I replaced with the 17x7 RacingHart OEM wheels that were on my '01 Protege MP3 for winter wheels, and the 18x8 OEM wheels off of my '04 RX-8 for the summer. I think I've got 225s on the RX-8 wheels too.
