Will 1986 body kit fit 1982 Rx7?

Guys,
I am working on RX7 very soon to remodel it and repairing and the body seems bad b/c of all the rusted and i found some site that shows 1986 RX7 body kit and not sure it gonna fit 1982 rx7.... anyone got ideas?

Don't think that's going to fit very well, unless you know alot about bodywork. There is a guy in my area that put a 3rd gen front bumper on his 1st gen, but he had to do alot of molding and whatnot to get it to work. Have any pictures of the RX7?

no it will not fit. you need a body kit that is made for a 1978 to 1985 rx7. 1986 is a second generation car with a totally different style.

Does anyone know where I could find a copy of the old Mariah Pacifica kit? I think it was also sold by the company Pacific Avatar (long ago). I like the side skirts that tie front and rear together, and the shape of the air dam. Everyone quit selling it once I was finally in a position to buy one (last place I saw it was on Erebuni's site, think it was their kit #364).
